A meeting in the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage

A meeting was organized today in the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage to present the model developed by the ARCHEO Virtual Reality Laboratory team at Palestine Polytechnic University within the framework of MED-QUAD project. The aim is to preserve and develop the cultural heritage of historical sites in the city of Hebron using 3D scanning techniques and virtual reality software. Dr. Jihad Yassin, Dr. Iman Al-Titi, and Engineer Ziyad Jaber participated from the Ministry, and from the Hebron Municipality, Eng. Murad Abu Rajab, and from the University, Dr. Momen Sughayyer, Dr. Zain Salah, and Dr. Hashem Al-Tamimi.

 

Where it was agreed on a cooperation mechanism to develop the model being worked on and later to adopt it within the Ministry's plan to develop the Palestinian Virtual Museum.
